The Lawrence Turnverein

In summer 2020, Research Assistant Hannah Combs, a graduate student in Political Sciece, created an illustrated and annotated finding aid of Lawrence Turner archives and artifacts held by the Max Kade Center, Kenneth Spencer Research Library, and the Watkins Museum of History in downtown Lawrence. She also transcribed a set of letters written by a German fighting for the Union during the Civil War.
